Massive amounts of liquid meltwater are routinely trapped inside and beneath glaciers, a phenomenon known in glaciology as englacial (inside the ice) and subglacial (beneath the ice) hydrology.

Instead of acting like solid blocks of ice, glaciers behave more like giant, frozen sponges. They hold vast reservoirs of water under immense pressure, sometimes for decades or even millions of years.When these hidden reservoirs grow too large, they can rupture the ice sheet, resulting in catastrophic floods.

The Tête-Rousse Glacier "Pressure Cooker" (France): In 2010, scientists discovered a massive pocket of water trapped inside this French Alps glacier holding 65,000 cubic metres of water (the size of 20 Olympic swimming pools). It was under so much pressure it was dubbed a "pressure cooker". To prevent an explosion that would destroy the valley below, engineers had to drill down and pump the water out manually.

And the confirmation also comes with not one single "expert" (even that fucking shill geologist silki) has mentioned this being a possibility. That tells me everything and why they are downplaying tf out of it, can you imagine the fear of every villager in Europe living under these glaciers if they knew at any moment they could burst and scientists can't do a fucking thing about it. They don't even know where these englacial meltwater reservoirs are because they are invisible from the outside.
