How do Americans keep telling themselves this is normal? LMFAO! It's unbelievable what they will accept from this wacko!

It's not even about the reflecting pool, it's about the Obelisk which it reflects, very interesting dimensions for those with eyes to see.

Dimensions of the Obelisk:

Total Height: 555 feet 5⅛ inches.

The Main Shaft: Rises 500 feet (152.4 metres) vertically before transitioning into the pointed peak.

Base Width: 55 feet 1½ inches square.

Top Width (at the 500-foot mark): 34 feet 5½ inches (10.50 metres) square. The Pyramidion (The Cap): The pointed pyramid top is exactly 55 feet (16.8 metres) tall. The Capstone & Apex: The final marble capstone weighs 3,300 pounds

which is crowned by an 8.9-inch (22.6 cm) tall aluminum pyramid tip weighing 100 ounces.

The monument was officially dedicated on February 21, 1885 (27)

Initial excavation work started on April 18, 1848 (34)

The Pope's donation: In 1854, Pope Pius IX donated a block of marble from the Temple of Concord in Rome

The Temple of Concord: The Divine Guardians of the Threshold: The entrance steps are flanked with statues of Mercury and Hercules. Pliny the Elder wrote that the temple acted as a sacred art museum housing statues of Latona (goddess of motherhood) cradling her divine twins, Apollo and Diana, alongside Asclepius (the god of medicine) and his daughter Hygieia (goddess of health).
