Mockery of Sleeping Lions
So, ironically enough I was listening to ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight” a couple weeks ago and felt like the lyrics were interesting:
"Hush, my darling, don't fear, my darling...The lion sleeps tonight"
I went ahead and searched the original Zulu version from where it was taken from, and the lyrics emphasize how the person is a lion. I don’t speak Zulu so I can’t make out if there’s any other words to the song not mentioned. The internet says the song refers to cattle herding while defending lions, but I think there is an underlying context to this song. If you check the Zulu folklore, the symbolism is clearer than just merely defending oneself from lions by “becoming one”. Even just by checking many mythologies of lions you can get the gist.
Well, I was pondering this and remembering how I’ve always played it during Christmas as a child, since I felt gravitated to the lyrics. Although I had my doubts if the intention of this song really referred to the expectation of divinity coming and one’s inner fire. Well, something confirmed it for me personally. Recently Trump posted a video using this song making himself the AI generated lion. (People are having this message going over their heads while focusing on something else.) You can get a couple ominous meanings from this, yes? Disgusting.

It's astounding how many songs are actually about the divine race and what's approaching humanity...
Fortune Faded by RHCP (laughing at the divine forgetting themselves)
"They say in chess you've got to kill the queen, and then you've made it
Oh, I, do you?
A funny thing, a king who gets himself assassinated
Hey now, every time I lose altitude"
"So divine, hell of an elevator
All the while my fortune faded
Never mind the consequences of the crime
This time my fortune faded
Come on, God, do I seem bulletproof?"
