After weeks of silence something awakens...Sunspot 4055 returns and fires a shot across the bow (I think) no data on what sunspot triggered this Mflare but pretty sure it's ole 4055 comin round the bend for us, now called 4079....
BIG SUNSPOT ALERT: A large sunspot is emerging over the sun's northeastern limb. Numbered 4079, it appears to be the second coming of sunspot 4055, which grew into a behemoth during its two week trip around the farside of the sun. Per tradition, sunspots are renumbered every time they cross the solar disk. Sunspot 4055 was not a source of strong flares, but sunspot 4079 might be.
