They are so full of shit, they launched this mission knowing that a STRONG geomagnetic storm was predicted, look at the results of me asking why astronauts don't launch during a geomagnetic storm.
How come astronauts don't launch during a geomagnetic storm?
"Astronauts typically avoid launching during a geomagnetic storm because it creates a highly unpredictable and dangerous environment for both the crew and the spacecraft. While modern spacecraft are built with shielding, a major storm introduces risks that mission controllers would rather not take"
And not to mention they know an active sunspot that just had a long duration Xflare and CME is turning to face the earth, that is even more dangerous because of it's unpredictability.

So on April 1st, fool's day, during a pink full moon, the 'fantastic 4' of Artemis II are being launched for a lunar excursion during a magnetic storm whilst recently having a noticeable uptick in the number of bright meteor fireballs and a sungrazing comet reaching perihelion on the 4th. Sounds like a perfect time to go on a 'space mission'.
