Today’s swarm follows a series of more than 1 100 earthquakes over several months in 2023, including M4.2 — the strongest quake in the area in 40 years.
These events sparked public concern and prompted officials to discuss new safety measures for more than 500 000 residents living in the towns and villages surrounding the volcano.
It is the largest active urbanized caldera in the heart of the European continent and is classified as a supervolcano due to its potential for producing extremely large and explosive eruptions
The last time two solar eclipses crossed paths over the New Madrid Fault as the two eclipses of 2017 and 2024 did was in 1806 and 1811. Two months after the Eclipse of 1811 up until March 1812 more than 200 moderate to large earthquakes occurred on the New Madrid fault. So two months after the 8th April Eclipse is June 8th.
Exactly where my thoughts went as well when I posted this and have been anticipating activity in this region. The ongoing signs in the heavens are so relevant right now.
Increase in activity in this region of Spain. They've had concerns about it for a while. The tremors rarely exceed 2 on the Richter scale but now they do.
Okay looks like we are starting to get some feedback in tectonic activity from all this incoming energy, unusual earthquake swarm in Baja California and what makes me take notice of this is that it's directly around the Cerro Prieto volcano...funny how the media don't mention that, but if you look at the map of where the earthquakes are and the map of the Cerro Prieto volcano that's where the earthquakes are...can't find a lot of info on the last eruption of that volcano so makes me think there hasn't been an eruption in modern recorded history.
Edit: Yes seems the only record of an eruption is from the Cucupas Indian legends which described it as a monster that covered the land with hot rocks, which grew through the soil and emitted fire tongues.
I cannot fathom how people still trust in their institutions for information or coming to help in emergency type situations. It's unfortunate that they will only see when it comes to affect them personally. As we know, the many years of warning about what's to transpire goes beyond their seeing and hearing.
IKR the government has repeatedly been shown to fail them time and time again and yet they still have absolute trust in these corrupted fucks to keep them safe...silly silly people, they have nobody to blame but themselves and it's their children who I feel sorry for.
"For us it was a bit of a new observation and a little bit of a surprise," Dahm told Live Science. This indicates a complex seismic situation under this picturesque region of rolling hills and green meadows.Â
On May 5, 2024, Indonesia’s volcanology agency, PVMGB, released aerial footage of the Ruang volcano following a series of powerful eruptions that have dramatically reshaped the landscape and forced nearly 10 000 people to evacuate permanently.
